This N.G.O., North East Zone Welfare Development Society, in association with local people South Salmara Mankachar district, Live Green, planted more than 200 saplings of valuable trees in and around of South Salmara Mankachar area and distributed saplings among the residents of Hatsingimari and its neighboring areas on the occasion of the World Environment Day on Sunday. The local people of Hatsingimari also observed the Environment Day on Sunday by holding an awareness meeting on the office premises of North East Zone Welfare Development Society, Assam.
